SANCTUARY RENOVATION BEGINSAfter much planning and anticipation, Trinity leaders and the congregation gave the final go - ahead Sunday August 17th for the beginning of the renovation of our 1888 sanctuary. Those present at the Special Church Conference voted unanimously to award a contstruction bid to TM Brennan for most of the work, as well as a second contract to have the pews refinished and restored. The renovation will include miscellaneous repairs, complete painting of the interior, new carpet throughout, a new lighting system, some electrical work, and an upgraded audio system.
At the conclusion of the church conference participants began the project by removing all of the hymnals and pew Bibles from the
sanctuary, and planning a volunteer effort to remove the old carpet.
It is anticipated that contractors will begin their work about September 2nd, and it is our hope to be back in the sanctuary in the first week of December.
During renovation, transitional worship services will be held as noted in the following article.

| TRINITY ADDS MISSION FACILITATOR TO CHURCH STAFFAs a part of the congregational strategic plan adopted 3 years ago, Trinity's administrative board recently approved the hiring of a part
time Missions Facilitator. Joining the staff will be Caryl Eissing,
a Trinity member who is a retired teacher. Carol will begin her work on September 1st.
The vision for this new position is for Trintiy to expand its already strong mission outreach program, through an increase in the number of mission encounter experiences offered to the congregation, seeking to have more Trinity parishioners involved with hands on mission. In addition, the facilitator will expand our mission education program.
